jumpsuits and saris

It's amazing what you can find in a thrift store.

Knit strawberries on bell-bottom pants.

Gannnngsta.

This jacket was Miu Miu. But kind of clownish.

Last stop was a coffee shop where I took this lovely macro right before dropping my camera right in the coffee. But if it breaks.... I can't say I'll be too sad.

Mix

I feel like I've done so very much this week... and yet, so very little. All week we've been writing snarky articles, and going to places for material for said snarky articles.
There gets to be a point when you just don't have anything clever left to say...
And so you hide away in a comfy coffee shop and eat things. Like sandwiches with apple and cheese and desserts solely of chocolate and caramel.

Fuzzy Lights and Jasmine Tea

Today after psych we kind of ended up at safeway so that my cinnamon toast crunch will have milk in the morning, and what better place to take pictures than a sketch underground parking place?

On Broadway, this is Benny's. It is fantastic, a coffee shop with the best ambience. A loft, good music, interesting decor without trying too hard. That well-worn look that is difficult to duplicate.

flowers
jasmine tea that smelled like pretty flowers.

This is the resulting attempt to do so.

Min glof

On 41st Street, there is this wondrous place called The Hills Although we should have been doing piles of other things, we decided that we were in the mood to go spend lots of money on beautiful and expensive things.
There were lots of beautiful things. Cowichan knit sweaters, colorful moccasins, fred perry bags, blue skinnies...
But I bought hand warmers. Because I love hand warmers.
I realize that they kind of give off a hobo vibe, even if they cost you forty bucks and have a nice pattern. But they are so cozy. And what better things to drink mint hot chocolate with than mittens?

mmmm

For all you know, this is a bucket of porridge and I haven't eaten in five days and the ladies behind me just gave me two quarters and a penny and told me not to spend it on drugs. But I have warm mittens.

behold

Behold! The mittens are by Echo. I believe you can find some of their other stuff here

minty goodness

Kristen is wearing my Urban Outfitter mittens from last year. They say 'deer' on them and make me happy and warm.
